Moms for Liberty
Parents' rightshttps://www.momsforliberty.org · founded 2021

Organizes around opposition to books containing sexual content, LGBTQ+ themes, and discussions of race and systemic racism.
Notes
Does not maintain a single centralized list — book challenges come from individual local chapters. To track effectively we'd need to aggregate chapter-level lists. BookLooks is the closest proxy to a Moms-for-Liberty-aligned central source.
Connected Laws
Laws this organization has been connected to based on public records.
Education
M4L chapters lobbied for and enforce HB 1069 through mass book challenges.
K-12 Education
M4L supported expansion of FL book review requirements under HB 1467.
Age-Appropriate Materials Act Amendment (HB 843)
M4L Tennessee chapters (Williamson, Knox, Hamilton, Shelby counties) actively supported and used the Age-Appropriate Materials Act to file book challenges. Knox County M4L chapter created a list of books to pull from schools, most with LGBTQ+ themes.
Relating to the regulation of library materials sold to or included in public school libraries.
M4L Texas chapters supported HB 900's book rating requirements. M4L's national platform advocates for parental review of library materials, which HB 900 codified.
