New Hampshire · HB 324
Relative to prohibiting obscene or harmful sexual materials in schools.
Would have allowed parents to request that books, films, and other school materials depicting nudity and sexual contact be removed from their child's school. Successfully challenged materials would have been banned for ALL students, not just the complaining parent's child. VETOED by Governor Kelly Ayotte on July 15, 2025, with concerns about subjective standards around age-appropriateness. Override attempt failed on Dec 17, 2025.
